Names that hold up in the Portuguese market

We develop original brand names and visual identity concepts for startups, product launches, and local businesses — with linguistic analysis, cultural relevance checks, and trademark-safe exploration built into every project.

Why Hyper Names exists

Most new ventures in Portugal launch with a name that was chosen in an afternoon. We built this studio to change that. Our work starts with linguistic analysis and cultural relevance checks, then moves through trademark-safe exploration until we land on a name that can actually be protected and used. The result is a shortlist of candidates, each with a rationale, pronunciation notes, and a clear direction for the logo.

Why a name matters before anything else

A name is the first thing people hold onto. We work to make sure it survives the first impression, the trademark search, and the Portuguese market.

Linguistic fit

We test how a name sounds in Portuguese and in English, checking for accidental meanings and pronunciation problems before you fall in love with it.

Trademark check

Every candidate is screened against existing registrations in Portugal and the EU. You get a shortlist that has a real chance of being cleared.

Logo direction

Each name comes with two or three visual directions, sketched and explained, so you can see how the word behaves as a mark.
